Tucson, Arizona — (AP) The Tucson Science Museum says it has installed a system to detect phishing attacks, but some users have reported being redirected to a phishing page.
Tucson Science Mçs website security page says visitors can view the museum’s phishing policy.
“You may see an email that contains a link to a temporary password that will allow you to log in to the museum,” it says.
“If you log in and attempt to log into the museum, you will be redirected to an external website, where you will need to select a new password for access to the Museum.”
You can also choose to log out of the museum and login again, or you can choose to cancel your password at any time and proceed to the next step,” it continues.
A message from the museum says that visitors who are unable to login or cancel their password will be directed to an internal website that has been designed to help users avoid phishing attempts.
The museum said it is working to address the issue.
