Posted December 01, 2020 07:08:54The Science Museum in Newcastle, Australia, is to reopen to the public after being locked for nearly two years.
The museum was shut down last November following the deadly coronavirus pandemic and reopened in January after a three-month closure.
The museum has only been open to the general public since February.
It is being reopened in the hope of drawing in visitors from around the world to celebrate the science of the virus.
The Science Museums website said the museum would reopen on Saturday, December 6, 2019, from 5:00am to 8:00pm.
It was closed on December 31.
The new exhibition, ‘The World of Infectious Disease: An Illustrated History’, was launched in April, but its final exhibition has been held up due to the coronaviruses pandemic.
