A museum dedicated to the human sciences has opened in Springfield, Missouri, the third in the country.
The Science Museum at the University of Springfield is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, a major research institution in the U.S.
The Science Museum, which opened in 2019, is designed to foster interdisciplinary research by offering a variety of educational programs to students and their families, as well as to support research on the environment and human health.
In addition to the museum, the Science Museum also offers a new science-focused learning space, the Art Gallery, which will be the first of its kind in the United States.
The Museum has also been named an American Heritage designation, an honorary Smithsonian National Museum, and is being listed in the Smithsonian’s National Register of Historic Places.
The Smithsonian’s designation recognizes the importance of America’s history, culture, and natural resources and the people and institutions who created them.
