Philadelphia, PA— A Philadelphia science museum is offering a new tour in hopes of attracting more visitors.
Sfo Science Museum has been offering tours for the past several years, but the new tour offers a sneak peek of the exhibit space.
“The new tour features some of the best exhibits in the museum, with over 70 different exhibits, including the oldest and most exciting of all the world’s dinosaurs,” said John R. Rupp, president of Sfo Science and a professor of biology and paleontology at the University of Pennsylvania.
Rupp also pointed out that this is the second time the museum has offered a tour of its exhibits.
The first time the new series of tours was offered was in 2018, when the tour was expanded to include the National Museum of the American Indian and the Philadelphia Museum of Natural History.
This is the first time a Smithsonian museum has made such an offer.
As with previous tours, visitors will need to be accompanied by a member of the public.
Sfo is offering the tour in conjunction with the museum’s Science Education Week, which begins on April 11.
